St. Ben’s Clinic is committed to providing respectful, comprehensive health services to adults who experience barriers in traditional health care settings. This care specializes in developing a relationship with patients through respect and understanding to overcome traditional barriers to medical care. Those barriers may include:
Difficulty in using office-based clinical practice
Lack of trust in the large system of care
Problems associated with poverty
Challenges of substance abuse or long term mental illness or homelessness
The clinic benefits from physician involvement and oversight as well as the assessment, counseling and referral skills of a professional social worker to address all issues related to health.

The clinic primarily serves economically disadvantaged community members, specifically Milwaukee’s Homeless population.
